2011 Whatcom Hospice Pro-Am Golf Classic

The 2011 Whatcom Hospice Pro-Am Golf Classic held August 25 and 26 at Lake Padden Golf Course was a huge success, raising a record $93,000 for Whatcom Hospice!
On
Thursday night participants enjoyed wonderful dinner and
a pro auction to determine their team’s pairing with the tournament's golf pros.
Then
on Friday morning, 34 teams took to the spectacular tree-lined course.
The 18-hole championship course measures 6,675 yards and plays
approximately 20% longer than the actual yardage. The traditional layout
offers holes that re tucked away into the wooded rolling grounds that make
players feel they are on their own personal course.
The goal of the Whatcom Hospice Pro-Am Golf Classic is to raise funds for Hospice to assess medical needs, provide social and spiritual services, and offer comfort and support for patients and their families.
