2nd Annual Windermere Pro-Am Golf Classic

We are very pleased that Windermere Real Estate/Whatcom, Inc. has agreed to be the Title Sponsor of the 2nd Annual Windermere Pro-Am Golf Classic to be held August 20 & 21, 2008 at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club. Thanks also to Birch Equipment Rentals and Sales for generously stepping up to underwrite the pro purses again this year. Net proceeds from the event will equally benefit Whatcom Hospice Foundation and St. Joseph Hospital Foundation.

The first Windermere Pro-Am Golf Classic held August 22 and 23, 2007 was a great success, raising over $82,000! Festivities included a Caribbean themed dinner and dance on Wednesday night along with a raffle for a Caribbean cruise and a silent auction. On Thursday, 23 teams of five took to the course. Each team included one pro, and the format was a rather unique Shamble, featuring individual rather than team scoring.
